Power supply terminal
The power supply terminal is a stud with an M8 thread. O-type terminals are used to connect power (see figure). When connecting, the force should not exceed 9 Nm.
The diameter of the terminal and the cross section of the supply wire is selected based on the requirements of each specific application.
In case where ASU 2.1 is supposed to be used in the immediate vicinity of aggressive environments (for example, with direct contact with anti-icing compounds that sprinkle roads in winter), NSE recommends the use of additional protective actions:
- Coating the power terminal and the connected power terminal with an insulating compound;
- Coating the power terminal and the connected power terminal with epoxy sealant or anti-corrosion spray.
